Next Match

It can be a good idea to keep track of how many days after the analyzed match both opponents start their next matches. If the teams play twice a week and there will be a second match against a stronger opponent, this can affect the lineup and deployment in the first match.

A convenient function for tracking the distance from the next match is in the filter for the Menu window. The Next Match section can be used:

.. after activating this section, new items are available in the Filter / Column. On the one hand, the number of days until the next match for both teams, and on the other hand, the ranking of the next opponent in the competition table. In the filter settings, it is possible to set the order to be returned only if the next match will be played in the same competition as the currently examined match. Filter / Column looks like this:

.. the color-coded columns inform you in how many days the home / away team will play the next match. The adjacent column on the right then shows the ranking of the opponent in the following match.

From the picture, for example, it can be seen that Mainz will play in 7 days against 15th team in the table. Leverkusen will play in 3 days, the order of the opponent is not shown in the table. When we open the Predict window, we find out that it will be a match of the national cup, where the standings cannot be given.

Information about the next match can be another clue when analyzing the match. Using Filter / Conditions or using a quick filter via the column headers, the influence of such other matches in the past can be investigated.
